John Grigge
Son of John Grigge and Catherine Dawson or Mary Jackson, baptised on the 2nd of September 1729 in Grasmere, Westmorland

A John, son of John Grigge was baptised
at Grasmere in 1722. It is possible that this John had died or that there were
two John Grigge s, each of whom had a son called John. That latter is given
weight by a Mary, daughter of John Grigge being baptised in January 1729.
However, this could have been a late baptism.
