1 In his will, Edward mentions his wife (unnamed) and his children Susan and Henry. He also mentions Susan Stable, who is named by John Hartley in his will as his daughter, ie Edward's sister, and Ruth Robinson of Ambleside, widow, who is probably his niece, daugher of his brother Henry. He also mentions Sarah Tyson of Keyhow and John Tyson of Chris-Cliff - no relationship yet established.
