1 "Captain Meredith Thompson, a nephew of Meredith who died in 1855, had been landlord of Knockadoo. He was a magistratw and also sat on the County Grand Jury. He married Frances Agnes Keogh of Geevagh, Co. Sligo in 1870 and died suddenly in 1880 survided by his wife and two children, Meredith and Cornelius. The whole Thompson estate, including Knockadoo property was sold by public auction on Friday, 9 May 1884. The Heather family bought Knockadoo".
