1 I have memories of visiting Aunt Elise for a week the year we moved house when I was a child. I can only have been 5 or 6 at the time I think but I loved the old cottage in the middle of Bourton. I remember that if you went out of one door you had to immediately cross the river on stepping stones! I also remember her telling me that country fresh eggs took longer to boil than town eggs - I of course ignored her and had a horribly undercooked egg. AJS
2 Death not found in 1964 register - or 1963. The date of 1964 is suggested on the basis of the Xmas card list of her niece, Joan Swindale (nee Rattray)
