Received Hollowstones from his father in 1782.

 Buried on the 15th of October 1819 at Eskdale, Cumberland aged 752

2    A John Nicholson was buried on the 26th of January 1801 at Eskdale, Cumberland from Hollowstones but the Hollowstones deeds would seem to imply John died about 1821. Also "21 Apr 1820: Eskdale Manor Court - John Nicholson is heir at law to a tenement at Randlehow"
