Notes
The gap between John and Margrett suggests that there may be two separate families here, or that Richard and Ann moved elsewhere in the interval. Margrett and Rachel are both noted as the children of Richard & Ann in the registers.
The 1758 will of Ann Kitching, buried at Irton on the 7th of Jun 1761, widow, names Rachel Nicholson, Margret Braithwaite and grand-daughter Margaret Porter as the executors, and a daughter Anne (Sharpe) amongst other legatees.
Richard's will only mentions his wife Ann (Annes / Agnes) and son John.
Richard Kitchen could be born anytime in the period 1650 to 1690. The Gosforth Baptismal register only starts in 1689, that of Irton in 1676.
Information on the Moscrope/Mossop family at http://www.jillcoulthard.com/mossop_summary_html_feb2005.html but no mention of Ann.
There is obviously room to doubt that Margret to Rachel are the children of Richard Kitchen and Ann Moscrope. On the other hand I have found no other marriage of a Richard Kitchen and Ann, nor deaths of Richard and Ann.
