Son of Isaac Nicholson and Sarah Dickinson, baptised on the 8th of August 1774 at Eskdale, Cumberland from Randlehow.
Probably Stephen Nicholson who married Alice Holm in 1799 but that could alternatively have been the Stephen Nicholson born in 1751.
