2 My transcription says this Stephen Nicholson of Randlehow was 35 at time of death, but I could easily have made an error. However the National Burial Index gives the same age. Alternatively there may be a Stephen Nicholson born around 1785 that I haven't yet traced. Stephen, son of Isaac, was born in 1775.
3 Alice Nicholson of Randlehow was buried on the 3rd of April 1856 aged 78.
4 Alice's mother, Elizabeth Holm, made her will at Randelhow in 1816 and died on 23rd of August 1816, buried 25th of August at St Catherine's.
