Notes
There are two contemporary Philip Swindels - one of Easebury and this one of Ranow.
Son of Phillipp Swindales
It is possible that Jane Lowe married Philip Swindles of Easebury but there is an obvious mismatch between the marriage to Jane Lowe and the baptism of John Swindels from Easeburie. The registers have no reticence in declaring children bastards therefore either Jane Lowe married a different Philip Swindels (ie Philip of Ranow) or else this was a second marriage. Margaret Swindels, wife of Phillip Swindels of Ranowe Lowe was buried 22nd May 1638 at Macclesfield so it is more likely that Jane Lowe married Phillip of Ranow Lowe
The two Philips both married an Elizabeth early in 1644 - one Elizabeth was Elizabeth Clearke married on 10th February 1643/4, the other Elizabeth was Elizabeth Lathome married on the 22nd of April 1644. It seems impossible to determine which Philip married which Elizabeth - it would seem that the child Philip of Easebury was probably conceived out of wedlock either way!
