1 The birth of Charles Rattray was registered in the second quarter of 1851 in Crediton, Devon (FreeBMD 10 83)
2 Not found with George and Maria in the 1861 census. Charles probably died between 1851 and 1861 but his death does not appear in the English BMD, nor in Scottish BMD 1854 - 1861. A Charles Rattray was buried on the 24th of June 1852 in Dirleton but he was aged 66.
