3     Edward, Leonard and Winifred, aged 9, 7 and 6 arrived in Southampton from Rio de Janeiro on the 27th of August 1892 aboard the Tagus.

"Clara went to Brazil when she married and died there. She had three children, two boys and a girl, who lived us for some years after she died." (Cissie Rattray (née Mähler), Clara's niece, to her grand-daughter Daphne in 1951).

4    A Leonard Gull arrived at Southampton from Buenos Aires (or Rio de Janeiro?) on the 30th of July 1910 aboard the Amazon.
