Possibly the George Swindel who married Mary Young on 30 November 1727 in All Saints, Newcastle but another George Swindel was baptised 3 May 1696 in Warden, Northumberland

What would have happened to George's mother and sisters - Jane, Margaret and Mary - following their father's death? Would George have been expected to look after his mother and any unmarried sisters? ( Their brother John died in 1722).
