Buried on the 1st of October 1952 at Newbrough, Northumberland from St Camella's Hospital, Hexham

1 Martha (or Martin and Martha) is said to be from New Alston Hay Barn in George's baptismal register entry. She is not listed as Martha Swindle or Swindell in the 1901 census. Martha Philipson, born c 1875, was living next door to Martin (i.e. at New Alston, Haydon) at the time of the 1901 census
