Michaelmas 1638: Thomas Seatle admitted as mortgagee to tenement at Rauenglasse (6/9; formerly Nicholas Bibby's) for Geo. Kitchin; subject to repayment of $25 [?] at Michaelmas 1643. Ref 13

Lady Day 1639: Edw. Payler Esq. of Petworth admitted at mortgagee to tenement in Miterdale called Low Place (11/9) for Hen. Nicholson, cloth worker of London; subject to repayment of $30 on 16 Apr 1640 (note: "redeemed before the day"). No ref.

Michaelmas 1639: Hen. Hartley atti Miterdale called Langrigg greene (11/6) and an improvement at Bang garth (7d) surr by his father Wm. Hartley. Note "Saluo iure cuius libet recte clamantis". Ref 9.

Lady Day 1641: Edw. Ffryers admitted as mortgagee to one third of a tenement in Rauenglass (8/1- apportioned to 2/8) for Anth. Sharpe; subject to repayment of $38/10/0 on 2 Feb 1646 (if not repaid, then E.F. is to give $11 more "in full satisfaction" to A.S. for possession). Ref 5.
