35 On a Headstone in the burial ground at High House Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, Allendale. In Loving Memory of William White of Gate House who died Decr 3rd 1882 Aged 69 years. Mary his wife, died March 15th 1877 Aged 67 years. They rest from their labours and their works do follow them.
36 On a Headstone in High House Wesleyan Methodist Chapel burial ground, Allendale. In Memory of William White of Gate House, who died Febry 6th 1883 Aged 45 years. Also Mary, wife of the above who died Oct 5th 1875 Aged 34 years. Also Caroline, their daughter, who died December 13th 1910 Aged 41 years. Also Marion, their daughter, who died March 12th 1912, aged 41 years.

Allen To the Memory of Pte J.W.Fairless 12/13 N.F. who fell in
action in France during the Great European War 1914 - 1918.

[Inscription transcribed in pencil and overwritten in ink] In Memory of Thomas Harrison of Limestone Brae, West Allendale, who died Sep 24th 1871, Aged 74 years. Also Phillis, his wife, who died July 9th 1821 Aged 23 years, and was interred at Ninebanks. Also Phillis their daughter who died August 24th 1839 Aged 18 years and was interred at Nine Banks. [verso] 2 (left side) Also of Hannah his second wife who died June 18th 1833 Aged 33 years and was interred at Carrshield. Also Anthony, son of Thomas & Hannah Harrison who died Sept 22.1831 aged 1 year & was interred at Carr Shield.
