| Sir William Lawson | Sir Wilfred Lawson married the heiress of Isell, and was knighted by James I. He died without issue. |
4 I am aware of at least two Henry Nicholsons at this period. One married an Emma Jenkinson; the other Henry Nicholson could have been John Vickars' brother in law.
5 Sir William Lawson and Edward Stanley get £1 apiece as supervisors but the other four get only ten groates - 3/4d! (Note: this is the first time I had realised the value of a groat - 4d or 60 to a pound. Perhaps we should have named the 'new penny' a 'groat'. It would have been nearer to the truth and less confusing!)
