….Datum xiiij die mensis May Anno Domini, 1664

The Condition of this Obligation is such, That if the above bounden William Tyson do well, faithfully and honesty educate and bring up with Meat, drink, Lodging, Apparrel, Learning, and other Necessaries belonging to his calleinge William Dickinson the natural Child of William Dickinson late of Eskedale in the County of Cumberland deceased, and now in his minoritie: and shall at all times when lawfully called, give him or his Assigns a true Accompt of all his doings : And shall honesty pay unto him when he shall be lawfully required all his Part, Purpart, Legacies, Portions, Dues and Rights belonging unto him, and which he shall receive to his use during his minoritie, giving him a just Accompt of all his Actings. And at all times shall well and sufficiently save, defend and keep harmless and indemnified the said Commissary and all his Officers ; And shall give further and better Security to he said Commissary when he shal be required ; Then this Obligation to be void, or otherwise to be in force.
