In the name of God Amen I Katherine Gregg of Oldscale in Withopp in the Parish of Lorton in the Countey of Cumberland Widdow being week and feeble of body but of perfect disposing mind and memory thanks be to Almighty God for the same and being desirous to dispose of such Temporal Estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to lend me, I give, Bequeath, and dispose of the same as followeth, First I will that my debts and funeral Expences be paid and Discharged, Also I give unto Margret the Wife of Christofer Grave a Brown Gown and peticote, Also I give unto Else my Better Brown Gown and peticote, Also I give unto my Half Sister Mary Roper one Shilling, Also I give unto my niece Ann Martindale one Shilling, All the rest and Resadue of my goods, Chattles and Credits movable and Immovable whatsoever I give and bequeathe unto my loving niece Margaret Moor and makes her full and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, In witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the Eighteenth Day of April in the year of our Lord God one thousand Seven Hundred and forty two
