Something different?
The French Connection aims to develop an
understanding of and a relationship with the nation with whom we have
been allies in two world wars, enemies - many times, visit often for
holidays or longer stays and possibly envy for their life style!
The French Connection of the Wear Valley is twinned
with the Plateau Vert to the west of Rouen and exchanges are arranged in
alternate years between the Wear Valley and the Plateau Vert and vice
versa.
Work experience has been arranged between the two
communities and we are keen to develop this further.
Meetings are held roughly monthly - see programme -
and anyone is welcome to attend.
