Mont-de-l-If

Mont-de-l'If is a very small commune with just 97 inhabitants in 2009. The church of the Sainte-Trinité is one of the most ancient in the district. The nave and the choir date from the XIIth century. The bell tower, from the XIIIth century, which was originally formed as a tinterelle in the gable wall, was rebuilt in the XVIIth century in the shape of a square tower.

On the altar reredos can be seen an inscription indicating that it was given in 1725 by Father François Lefrançois, curé of the parish.

The [tabor] is decorated with two angels made of gilded wood. The central painting is a copy of the Baptism of Christ from the XVIIth century [kept] by the church and is the work of Beaucousin, a painter from Yvetot
