a)    1891 UK census    The three orphaned children are found with their great-aunt Hannah Crodace and great-grandmother 'Lucteria Crodace' in Heworth in 1891.
        1901 UK census    The three siblings are still with their great-aunt Annah Crodass and great-grandmother Lucrecia Crodace' in Heworth. George is a coal miner.
        1911 UK census    The family is still together, living with Elizabeth who has married George Turnbull.
        1939 Register         Elizabeth J Turnbull, born 6 April 1884, married to George B Turnbull, with a son George born 1907, is living in the same house in Felling as the family was occupying in 1911    

b)    The birth of Elizabeth Jane Swinney, mother's maiden name Laws, was registered in the second quarter of 1884 in the Chester le Street district (GRO 10a 548)

        The marriage of Elizabeth Jane Swinney and George Bell Turnbull was registered in the first quarter of 1904 in the Gateshead district (FreeBMD 10a 1226)

        The death of an Elizabeth  J Turnbull aged 78 was registered in the third quarter of 1961 in the Durham North Eastern district (1a 361)
