Notes

1    Birth registered in the first quarter on 1869 in Wandsworth (FreeBMD 1d 518)

2    Charles and Elizabeth  brought up "Little Lizzie", who was their niece. She thought they were her mother and father (and called them that) until she took a post office job at age 16 and found that they were in fact aunt and uncle. However they had been kind to her and she stayed with them.
(They had no children of their own; they brought up "Little Lizzie" because Lizzie's mother's husband died when Lizzie was six weeks old).

3    The death of a Charles D. Larkins aged 72 was registered in Q1 1941 in Ilford Essex (4a 943). This is the only matching death found.
