Notes

1    Information from Mary Pattinson

2    Staying with her aunt Susannah at the time of the 1881 census

3    "Edward Wilson, who Married Dorcas, was the brother of Robert Wilson Born 1824 to Joseph the nail maker. Robert had a son, Thomas born 1856. Thomas was my grand father. Interesting Edward appeared to influence Robert who became a pencil maker and founded the company which ultimately became Cumberland pencil works." E-mail from David Wilson 23/3/2006.
