Biography

Studied history at Lincoln College, Oxford. Went out to West Africa during Second World War to train West Africans in Nigeria and then he went with the 81 (West African) Division to fight in Burma. After the war trained at Garnet College to teach adults. Lectured in Economics at South West London College in while living at Whitton, London before retiring in July 1983 to Rustington, Sussex.
