Notes

1    All information originally from family tree from Anne Roberts / Jim Swindale and 1901 census

2    Annie's sisters are Polly Colling from Willington, Ada Dawson from Nenthead, Sarah Colling from Sunniside, Priscilla Lonsdale from Willington. Priscilla Lonsdale can be found in the 1901 census aged 36 born at Cowshill, Durham. The only matching Priscilla in the 1881 census is Priscilla Bell on her own. Then looking for Ada Bell we find John Bell with daughters Annie, Sarah, Mary, Jane Anna and Ada. Annie matches the known birthdate of Annie Swindle. There is a Sarah Colling in the 1901 census, born Stanhope, who matches the birthdate of Sarah Bell. Mary Bell is still in Stanhope in 1901. (Polly is a nick-name for Mary). QED!
