Notes

1    For example Margaret, daughter of William and Elizabeth Armstrong, baptised in Haltwhistle on the 1st of July 1738 - this is supported by Nina Mack in her Pedigree Resource file. Margaret, daughter of William Armestronge baptised in Hexham on the 30th of March 1730. Margaret, daughter of William and Anne Armstong, baptised in Elsdon on the 30th of April 1738 .... and these are just ones assuming that her father's name is William based on the marriage witness entry.
