1    The Mary Swindle buried in 1896 aged 52 is identified as the daughter of Christopher and Jane on the basis of her living at Woolpack Yard at the time of her death. Her mother Jane was living there at the time of her own death in 1878 and Mary was living there at the time of the 1881 and 1891 censuses.

2    Mary Swindle was still unmarried at the time of the 1881 census
